You will belong to a unit with 24 employees, a senior social secretary, 2 team leaders, and a unit manager. With us, you will get competent colleagues, close management, an individual introduction, and external supervision. We work to support people towards an independent life through active social work. Now we are looking for you who want to work as an alcohol and drug therapist within the adult support unit and want to work closely with clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an alcohol and drug therapist with us, you will become an important part of social services' outpatient care, with a special focus on dual diagnosis treatment. You work with people who have addiction problems in combination with mental illness, and you use your treatment competence to meet complex needs in a structured and professional way.

You work both based on IUB (measures without needs assessment) and support measures decided by social secretaries. The work is based on current legislation, guidelines, and evidence-based methods. Your Step 1 education enables you to work methodologically and safely with dual diagnosis-oriented measures.

In your treatment work, you use, among other things, relapse prevention, MI (Motivational Interviewing), and other structured measures for dual diagnosis. You work to identify and treat dual diagnosis, and you support the client in developing strategies that work in everyday life.

The role includes documenting according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the organization's routines, reporting back to the social secretary, participating in follow-ups, and SIP meetings. It may be relevant to collaborate with other actors within healthcare and psychiatry to ensure coordinated support over time.

The work involves both individual counseling and group therapy. You actively contribute to developing and quality-assuring our outpatient measures, especially within the area of dual diagnosis.

You meet people in vulnerable life situations and work both therapeutically and motivatorily. It can involve managing relapse risks, strengthening protective factors, creating structure in everyday life, and building sustainable strategies for change. You will become part of an engaged team where we work together, share knowledge, and support each other in the daily work. We are looking for you who want to make a difference, who enjoy a relationship-building role, and who have a genuine interest in addiction care and dual diagnosis treatment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are educated as a CBT therapist (Step 1) or addiction therapist with a CBT focus. We also want you to have education in relapse prevention and MI. It is also important that you have experience of treatment based on CBT. It is also important that you have good IT skills and the ability to express yourself well orally and in writing in the Swedish language.

It is an advantage if you have experience of addiction treatment based on dual diagnosis, CRA (Community Reinforcement Approach), education in the dual diagnosis manual "treating dual diagnosis". It is also an advantage if you are an educated social worker with a foundation in social work.

As a person, you are secure, stable, and have self-insight with the ability to distinguish between the personal and the private. Based on the complexity you encounter in the organization and the ethical dilemmas that may arise, you need to have a good ability to reflect on ethics and value-based work. You will need to collaborate with other professions from a holistic perspective regarding clients, which means you have a good ability to collaborate with others. There are major changes regarding addiction treatment based on the dual diagnosis investigation, which means you should have a good ability for a strategic and long-term approach.

The current position is filled subject to the decisions that need to be made.
